The spot was spot on, but when I booked in July I thought I’d be staying at Hawthorn Extended Stay, only to end up at The Palma. The room they handed us didn’t match the Hawthorn photos at all—rug stained like dog poop and smelling awful, cracked tile and a loose back on the toilet tile. I asked for a clean, decent room and the second one they offered was even worse. With all the Halloween events that weekend, every other hotel was sold out, so I couldn’t just leave. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The rooms were comfy, but the breakfast was nothing—just snacks, not a proper breakfast, and that was terrible.

We checked out on 28/07/2026, and as of 19/08/2026 the hotel still hasn’t refunded the USD 50 deposit on my credit card. I reached out via the booking app but the refund hasn’t been processed yet. The stay itself was fine, but think twice before risking an unexpected charge on your card.

The location is great, close to Disney parks and the International Outlet. Worth recommending. Nothing else to note.
