This was probably my favorite hotel room of the whole holiday; the room was spacious with a great sea view, and it had a small fridge and microwave. Gorilla Chop Beach is on the other side of the street, and a couple of nice local restaurants are within a 10‑minute walk. The hotel is small and the staff isn’t very present, so it feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel.

The sea was right in front of me, and the view from the room was amazing! The big bathtub let the whole family relax together. Because checkout was at 11 am, we could go to the beach in the morning, swim, and then all go back to the bath. The free washing machine and gas dryer (you buy detergent from a vending machine) were a huge help. We even washed before checkout so we could prepare for afternoon activities. I can’t think of any complaints! Some reviews mention the old facilities and cleaning, but I didn’t notice any of that.

The room was clean, and with the sea right in front, I could enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean. There was a nearby spot where I could go down to the beach, so if I had prepared, I could have played in the sea. The room’s large windows had blinds that looked like many slats hung like a curtain, but they didn’t open well and let a little view of the outside in. There’s a road between the hotel and the sea, so even early in the morning there’s a moderate amount of traffic, which makes the noise a bit bothersome.

The view was gorgeous, parking was free and the room was roomy, but we found a little lizard in it, and they even entered our room.
