The property was well located for the port—we had a ferry booked for Amalfi the next day. It was very clean with a good shower. The room felt like an office block. Access was a little complicated. The pillows were very hard and neither of us slept well. The room is tiny and the coffee maker is outside. The bed frame had a chunk missing from it.

The only positive was the location, because we would catch the ferry at Naples Port the day after our arrival. It’s not even a hotel. The rooms are in a building I couldn’t tell if it was commercial or residential. The building is old and poorly maintained. The bed was comfortable, but the room and bathroom fell short in cleanliness and structure.

Access to the building is via keypad codes—every door is secured that way—and a private security guard is on duty, which gives a strong sense of safety. The room was spotless and bright, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. From the Pontano room you can see Mount Vesuvius, the harbor, and the ocean right at your feet, making it a perfect spot to enjoy coffee. The host leaves coffee and water in the common area for guests. The property sits right across from the harbor and is just a five‑minute walk to the Alibus stops that serve both the port and the airport. It’s definitely the place we’d choose again. Many thanks.

The place was clean, and coffee and water were available. It was quiet and the room was very nice. Highly recommended.
