“oké voor een overnachting”
The view is nice. The restaurant, breakfast, and shower were mediocre, and the shower had mold.

The hotel’s proximity to the border helped cut the long drive to our final destination, and it’s a surprisingly quiet spot.

The carpet was nice, but everything else was awful: the electrical wires in the wall buzz constantly, probably due to overload, and it could start a fire soon; I told reception that I had heard this all night. The place is basically neglected and rundown. In the morning, while we were having breakfast on the terrace, the cleaning lady sprayed the terrace with a bucket of water about 2 meters from us—something I’ve never seen anywhere. The waiter served a plate of pastries for dinner, but the kitchen was entirely inedible. My friend was bitten by unknown insects in the neighboring room. The hotel is in a very nice location and truly deserves a serious renovation and training for some of the staff, but the rooms are very dirty, there’s no soundproofing, the price doesn’t justify the place, everything is outdated and old. I don’t recommend it.

Not all rooms face the city; some look back. The luggage space was at the back of the room and dark, so it wasn’t usable.
