Three separate buildings house rooms with minibars and safes, while free internet via cable is available in all rooms. A restaurant with summer garden serves Franconian specialties and quality wines nearby the Rokokogarten garden and River Main Promenade.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel sits in the town centre near the river, great for walking. The whole area is level, no hills to climb! The hotel was easy to find with our GPS. On arrival we were confused: parking was the first problem. After getting the car parked, we were told the reception was in another building down the road. We walked to that building, which is a café where breakfast is served and where the check‑in desk is located. Then we went back to the car, collected our luggage, and dropped it in our room. We had to walk back to the car again to park it in a dedicated car park, and I would question the 150 yards quoted in the hotel preview! There was no restaurant in the hotel, so we had to wander around town to find a place to eat – it was difficult, to say the least. Eventually we found an excellent restaurant by the river. Fortunately the weather was good, but the walk to and from the hotel, the breakfast café, and the car park would have been miserable if it had rained.

Very good, just that the hotel closes at 8 p.m. and you can’t eat afterwards.

A versatile breakfast buffet, central location and short walk to the congress centre, evenings offer nice walks and local specialties. A large, spacious room with good beds and a big bathroom. Plenty of space for everything and a pleasant night’s rest.

We stayed again at the “Weißes Lamm” for our third visit and were pleased by the attentive, friendly and helpful staff as well as the very good, tasty breakfast buffet. Our room was in the charming timber‑framed house a few metres from the main building, offering Standard and Economy rooms. The house sits right in the historic town centre, which is completely quiet at night compared to other places, making it ideal for a short stay. The free parking within walking distance and the nearby bus stop are additional perks. However, the days when you could still spend a weekend in Veitshöchheim at a hotel with a similar standard for about 110 € in a double room with breakfast are over. The Weißes Lamm, with its two dependences, is no exception. We paid just under 300 € for the two nights.
