The location, the room, the proximity to the beach, and the garden were all good.

The location was good, but the breakfast was clearly better at all the East Coast hotels I’ve known over the years. There’s no way to securely attach a brought‑along e‑bike to a fixed object except on the personal bike rack. The shelter offered for 2,50 per day with a code lock looked very untidy and offered no way for a fixed attachment (a condition for insurance coverage in a shared space).

The hotel is run with affection, and the garden is very beautiful, offering many unique seating spots. The breakfast is excellent, with all the usual accompaniments.
