“Odihnitor, placut.”
The furniture was brand‑new and recently renovated, the TV in the room was huge, the sheets were new and soaked up the afternoon sun, and breakfast offered a decent variety of cold and hot dishes, vegetables, good coffee, and teas; I would have preferred a terrace to enjoy breakfast outside, which was available. Two elevators were essential for the upper floors (I stayed on the 6th), and the room was handed over quickly and ready when I arrived at 14:00. I could drop my luggage at reception after checking in so we could wander a bit before heading home. Walking along the promenade towards Mangalia or north felt refreshing, the area was renovated and the breeze was pleasant. Breakfast had a few fruits and besides sliced bread for the toaster, I would have liked buns, but overall it was fine. The room offered a partial sea view but no balcony, which felt a bit claustrophobic for me. A kettle in the room would have been nice, as I found in other 3‑star hotels.
