On Sunday there was no breakfast.

It was great that we, a family of four, could all sleep in one room. The owners are truly very kind people! I can’t think of anything negative.
The room was fine. The check‑in and check‑out rules were very restrictive. We were scolded for arriving at 15:30 for check‑in, even though their standard check‑in starts at 16:30, which isn’t very standard. We waited outside in 40 °C weather without a water drink offered—just the bare minimum of humanity. They charged us an extra 15 € for the early check‑in and another 15 € for our dog, even though no bowl was provided in the 40 °C heat. Check‑out was at 10:30 am, while our friends at nearby hotels had 12 pm check‑out; there was no flexibility, even though it was an off‑season Sunday with no expected bookings that night. We were there for a wedding, and they knew it would fill the hotel, yet they didn’t adapt.
The place is convenient. Checking out at 10:30 am on a Sunday or paying 22 € at noon felt like a bad joke to raise the room rate. The bedroom doors are not sound‑proof; if the neighbor talks, you can hear them directly.
“Ein romantischer Platz”
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The romantic atmosphere, the garden, the excellent dinner and breakfast, and the pretty rooms were all wonderful. We could also safely park our bikes in the courtyard. We’d love to come back.
