“Excelente Pausada”

We were welcomed warmly, the room was great, and the breakfast was good too. The hotel is close to the beach, only a 5‑minute walk. They gave us all the information to explore other spots and made it easy to catch a taxi or other transport. We would definitely come back.

The breakfast was decent. The room that was made available had mold stains on the ceiling and walls, and the mattresses were also moldy. I had to stay one night because there were no other options, and I moved to another hotel the next day.

“Vale a pena a estadia”

The lodge delivers what the website promises and is a quiet place. It’s near the beach and the Mucugê road, right in between the two. The host is friendly and always ready to help with anything needed. I recommend the spot for its great value.

The place is calm and close to the center, and the host is friendly. The room had a musty smell that made me uncomfortable. I told the owner that the mold and cleanliness needed improvement.

“A pousada está numa excelente localização, quarto confortável e café da manhã simples e completo!”

Breakfast was simple yet complete and tasty, offering two fruit choices, fresh juice, brewed coffee and hot milk, plus the option to order made‑to‑order tapioca and scrambled eggs. The place is also very well situated, about a ten‑minute walk to Praia da Mucugê and Rua do Mucugê, roughly a fifteen‑minute stroll in total. Future guests should note that the streets are cobblestone and a bit hilly, so moving slowly is advisable. On the downside, we only learned at check‑in that housekeeping would only clean the room if we placed a sign on the door; without it, the room stayed untouched, and the bathroom lacked a glass shower enclosure—just a stone ledge—so water spilled onto the floor during showers.
