We enjoyed a fantastic 3‑night stay at Ruka Trek Gasthaus & Hard Trek Café in Kuusamo, Finland; from the moment we arrived we felt very welcome and comfortable, with a warm, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere, and the location was a perfect base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Ruka and Kuusamo; everything about our stay felt easy and enjoyable, and we really appreciated the hospitality, leaving with great memories and ready to return; highly recommended for anyone seeking a friendly and welcoming place in this beautiful part of Finland.

I stayed in a ground‑floor room with a view into the forest, and the breakfast table was great – we were the only guests. The hosts were very friendly and gave us useful information, thanks!

My husband and I had an absolutely exceptional experience at Ruka Trek Gasthaus & Hard Trek Café. The room is charming and the breakfast is made with such care and affection that it shows in every detail. The hosts are uniquely kind, especially Mrs. Kátia, who was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us all the support we needed. We left so happy and satisfied that we already want to return. We recommend it without hesitation! Absolutely nothing to complain about.
