The room was roomy, the staff gave excellent service, the private open‑air bath in the room was a highlight, the spring water felt superb and the buffet was delicious; checkout was at 11:00, though the steps leading to the large outdoor bath were a nuisance.

The parking lot and entrance were both large and clean, and the short walk from the lot to the lobby was convenient; the guestroom matched the photos, the air‑conditioning worked well and made the stay comfortable, while the fridge’s freezer compartment was handy for freezing ice packs, and a clean plastic cup inside the pre‑washed bag in the fridge was both chilled and useful. An earth‑ground mat was supplied for emergencies, and about seven power outlets let us plug in many devices at once; the bathroom stocked facial wash, hair oil and moisturiser, which was very convenient. The elevator was roomy enough to carry three large suitcases without trouble, the TV had smart functions so we didn’t need a Fire Stick, and although there was a shop, it was limited, so buying snacks elsewhere in advance was wise; the vending machine offered soft drinks and alcohol but the selection was small, so pre‑purchasing was recommended. On the downside, the entrance door was manual rather than automatic, making it a bit hard to juggle luggage, the lobby lacked any scent which could have enhanced the atmosphere, and while the toilet itself was clean, there was some grime along the wall and a dead insect under the window that had been missed during cleaning; otherwise, no further issues.

The hot‑spring water was exceptionally good and the room felt spacious and comfortable, but the renovation was half‑finished: the toilet floor had been patched crudely with duct tape, the wash‑basin door caught on a hinge, and the towel rack wobbled, all of which were clearly noticed yet addressed sloppily.

The staff were extremely attentive, especially the dinner server who handled every request with a smile, though it was disappointing to find many dead insects on the steps leading to the open‑air bath.
