The climbing wall, the café, and the hostel appear to be separate businesses; the idea of a climbing hostel is to be part of a climber community, and I felt I couldn’t join anything.

I was with my sister and niece traveling from the USA to Peru, so we booked private rooms that were spot‑on for us. The hostel was spotless, the staff were warm and welcoming, and we felt totally safe. They’ve got both an outdoor and indoor climbing wall, plus a solid on‑site restaurant, and a nice kitchen/lounge area if you want to cook.

The bed was super comfy, the shower hot, and everything was clean. The owner went the extra mile for me because I arrived late. I booked this place as a rock climber hoping the climbing wall advertised would be included with the room price, but it wasn’t and was actually more expensive than a day pass at a gym in the United States, which was very disappointing.
