The pool is fantastic, breakfast is awesome, and the sunset cocktail hour is lovely; the room feels very luxe and comfortable, and the staff are lovely with a great location. No negatives.

The hotel ranks among the best I've stayed in; the view of Galle Fort is amazing, and the restaurant is exceptional—some of the best food on our trip. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel foyer and swimming pool area are beautiful, peaceful, and cool; the staff are very welcoming and the cooling towels are greatly appreciated. The food in the main dining hall is good, but the breakfast is amazing. The rooms look great at first glance, but on closer inspection they are a little worn; there is a slight drainage smell from the toilet area, and the sliding doors do not block the sea noise.
