“The perfect mid-trip break”

We stopped in Centurion while traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto, and the hotel was stunning—bedrooms even more beautiful and spacious than the photos suggested. I used the balcony onsen at night with rain falling around me, surrounded by trees—truly magical! My mum booked the private onsen, which was perfect if you’re not comfortable with a public onsen. The sukiyaki was incredibly delicious, presented with a super high level of detail. The service was friendly, and we didn’t book the shuttle but the driver found us on our way up and took us to the hotel. Definitely recommend booking. We had forgotten our umbrellas on one of the buses, and they gave us a couple for free because it was raining. 100000/10—this is how you do hospitality. The only challenge was getting there during Silver Week, so plan around those dates.

“Great traditional onsen hotel offering a quiet and exclusive experience”

The service, staff, onsen, food, and location were all great—everything! The hotel also offered a choice of classical or jazz music in the public area. It’s a comfortable and welcoming stay for visitors to the Hakone area. We were initially worried the location was far from the transport hub, but convenient local bus routes and the hotel’s shuttle service made it no problem at all. We especially appreciated the tranquil, quiet vibe at this resort.
