The place was spotlessly clean, the rooms were roomy and had everything needed for cooking and eating comfortably, and the balcony was a nice touch—though a chair would have been handy. The location was convenient and safe, and the staff from check‑in to check‑out were helpful and professional. The weekend rate I paid was great. The only downsides were the traffic noise from the expressway, which I tried to avoid by asking for a room over the side parking lot, but the hotel was fully booked so no change was possible. As a light sleeper, I would suggest that guests request a room away from the expressway and the street car noise when booking. Also, there was no hair dryer in my room initially, but the front desk quickly sent one over.

The apartment was clean and spacious, with a staffed reception and plenty of parking, and the location was great—just a short walk to the MidCity District’s many restaurants. The kitchen was nice, but it lacked basic kitchenware, so I couldn’t boil water during my short stay. The pool’s placement was uninviting, and as expected, nobody used it while I was there.

The staff were very friendly and the manager handled my issue well, even following up with her boss and getting back to me promptly, which made the place feel nice overall. However, the room was not clean—hair was everywhere—and I had to clean it myself after speaking with the manager, who then fixed the situation. Housekeeping needs improvement, especially since there was mud in the hall from the dogs that wasn’t cleaned, and the pool also required some cleaning.
