The bed and room were spacious. The TV didn’t work, the fridge made a strange breathing noise, the ice machine didn’t work, and breakfast was very minimal. We checked in using a kiosk, which felt very impersonal; I’d prefer to give my credit card and driver’s ID to a real person instead of a machine. The lack of person‑to‑person interaction was disappointing.

“Only stayed there because it was close to the race track”

There wasn’t much to do, just coffee. The carpet in the room felt sticky and there were cobwebs everywhere.

“Customer service is lacking and personality is lacking.”

The property and rooms were clean, but the beds were not as comfortable as I’d hoped, and I woke up with lower back pain. The AC worked, but the heater didn’t. Breakfast was very limited, offering only generic Hunny Buns, waffles, and two types of cold cereal; we ended up buying a $5.00 breakfast at Hy Vee instead. The soda and snack machine had very few items, each costing $3.00. A strong curry smell from the front office drifted all the way down the main hall. The front desk lady needed her husband to translate on the phone, and her English was very limited until she made a financial error in her favor. Be cautious.
