Dorm New Saigon Hostel - Bui Vien Walking Street

The facility, location and staff are excellent. Room cleaning could use improvement.

“Extremely bad.”

I didn't stay in the dorm new Saigon hostel as it didn't exist. The address 373/16 pham ngu lao was a takeaway. The phone number was not exist. I finally managed to get WiFi and email the hostel and the receptionist email me back and gave me the correct address. The hotel name Phan Anh at 373/6 pham ngu lao. I was asked if I could leave my suitcases there and I will check in later. When I came back and checked in the receptionist charged me 190000VN dong and took me to the near by hostel Long bed and breakfast. This Long hostel only cost 160000 VN including breakfast. I did raised my concern with the receptionist but he did nothing. I want what I paid for and not putting me where I did not want

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable. The location in the center is great. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The location is great, the service is good, I feel very safe and comfortable here. Definitely recommend it for solo travelers.

“Demasiado ruidosa”

It was in the center and clean, but it’s not a hostel with a backpacker vibe. Construction and air‑conditioner noise are constant. They could offer a discount considering the building next door is under renovation, the early‑morning stone‑drilling, and the loud AC that keeps going even when it’s off in your room. Two nights without a good night’s sleep.
