The location is great, but after booking through the site the host demanded cash on arrival, promised a refund that never came, so I feel cheated.

The spot is close to the city centre and the room and bathroom were tidy, yet the communal carpets were filthy and stained, the shower rail, vanity unit and screen were worn out, a resident spent hours monopolising the washing machine, chain‑smoking in the yard with the door open left the whole place smelling of smoke, and a cat wandered around the property.

I found the location acceptable because it’s basically in town centre and easy to get around, but after we misplaced the pin and discovered it ourselves, the room door code was nowhere to be seen or mentioned, so we had to call the host and wait while we secured the door with our belongings inside; the overall cleanliness was poor, probably reflecting the low price, so next time I’d pay more for better quality.
