The location was good, right across from the waterfall. The food was good, breakfast was excellent. We were treated like VIPs because we were the only ones. I slept well. The staff were friendly. The downside was the opening hours of the shops and museum on Tuesday in mid‑October, all around 1 pm or so. We are early birds and wanted to keep traveling on time, so we couldn’t buy souvenirs.

Everything is dictated by the hotel owner. The accommodation is totally different from the photos. A plain building on the corner of a narrow, busy street. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet and the waiter had already set the dishes on the table. Of course we asked for it, but it was far from what I expected. Normally, if the room is cleaned and the guest doesn’t want to clean it, a red card is placed on the back of the door. That card wasn’t there; this was the first time I had to deal with something like that.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the hot shower was nice, but the location is down the hill from the main guesthouse, forcing a walk up and down to check in and out with bags, which is inconvenient. Nobody was available at 8.40am to hand over the key, which was irritating. The Gastehaus photo is misleading and should be removed; a photo of the actual accommodation is needed.

The accommodation was beautiful, modern, and spacious, but it wasn't clear that it was 200m away from the address. Parking was fine, but walking with (motor) luggage (no wheels!!) was a hassle.
