The spot is gorgeous and super quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the area around the hotel is beautifully arranged. There’s a lot of fascinating history to explore.

Die Lage ist wunderschön, oberhalb des Lago Maggiore. Zu Fuß ist man innerhalb von 10 bis 15 Minuten am See. Eine Treppe führt zwischen alten Steinhäusern und Gärten direkt vom Hotel ans Lido. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich wurde bei der Anreise sogar noch mit einem.kostenlosen Upgrade überrascht. (Vom Einzelzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad, auf ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad) Das Zimmer war sporadisch aber tip top.sauber. Das Badezimmer ebenfalls. Frühstücken konnte man auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den See. Das Buffet war sehr gut ausgestattet. Man bekam.alles, was das Herz begehrt. Meine Empfehlung! Gerne wieder 🫶🏻. Die Außenanlage war teilweise leider gerade im Umbau / Renovierung. Darum konnte man nicht alles nutzen

The staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet was plentiful, and lunch and dinner were very fine. The room was very clean and there was a free parking spot. The only downside was that the bed in the single room was only 90 cm wide.

It feels like a Bauhaus dream, transported back to another era with everything lovingly restored and preserved. The history of the place and the utopias of its former inhabitants are vivid, especially through the museum and the whole complex. We really enjoyed the rooms and the setting. The scenery is beautiful, the history particularly interesting, most staff are genuinely nice and attentive. The view of the lake is fantastic. The balcony with a table and chairs, the comfortable beds, and the well‑equipped bathroom were great. We could park right at the house without trouble and even check in at 24 o’clock. The friendly gentleman at reception is a gem! Thank you very much! The only downside is that breakfast is rather bland and classic; the scrambled eggs were hardly edible. The friendly service was very nice. Overall, we weren’t there for the food but for the place, which is truly top‑conditioned and beautifully done.
