“compliqué”
The location is good. The upstairs neighbors were unbearable, talking or moving furniture until 4 am every night. The cleaning person only came once during a five‑day stay, leaving just one roll of toilet paper per visit, and we only had one towel per person. The hardwood floor was more comfortable than the sofa‑bed. Also, it’s not a hotel but more of an Airbnb. Even though the listing for Vatican Art “Place” didn’t state it was a hotel, I thought I’d booked a room with breakfast included, which suggests hotel services. If I wanted an Airbnb, I would have booked it on the proper platform. In the end, the promised breakfast was just a croissant and coffee at the local bar, and any extra coffee would cost extra.
