Ristohotel zur Linde

The staff were super friendly and attentive. The location was excellent and there were plenty of parking spaces. The food served in the restaurant was deliciously good. The rooms were modern, friendly and very clean.

“Restaurant sehr gut, Hotel mäßig”

The restaurant is very good, the staff very friendly, and the location is very central. In the room and bathroom there are no sockets, for example to charge phones or a razor. The sink had no stopper, the toilet lid was broken on the hinge and was hard to open or close. On the restaurant’s off‑day the room is not cleaned, and there is no staff in the hotel.

“Sehr nettes Personal und komfortables Zimmer”

I booked last minute and was pleasantly allowed to check in at noon, even though the official check‑in time was in the afternoon. The room looks freshly renovated—everything is new and stylish. I would have liked an extra outlet on the nightstand for my “handy alarm”; instead I had to keep the lamp on and the outlet was blocked. Bringing a small power strip would have solved that, but I forgot it.

“Expectations exceeded....”

The Italian/Mediterranean restaurant and rooms are superb. Arriving earlier than expected, I was greeted warmly and a secure locker was offered for my bike. My room was comfortable, clean, and offered a view of the marketplace below. The restaurant turned out to be the real highlight, delivering an authentic taste of Italy in a small German town. Nothing negative comes to mind.

The mattress and TV were acceptable. For the price, the facilities felt too basic; I expected better‑painted walls and no kitchen trash bin in the room. The pillows were very thick.
