Our stay at La Tela di Penelope in San Marco d'Alunzio was pure magic. The place exceeded our rosy expectations. The rooms were clean and well furnished, with everything you need. The view is breathtaking. The surrounding area is simply wonderful, and the town itself charms with its authentic Sicilian vibe. If you’re after true peace, calm, and a break from everyday hustle, this is the perfect choice. The real highlight of this spot, however, is the people: incredibly hospitable, warm, and ready to help at any time. We felt truly cared for and at home. The view was simply amazing, the host was friendly, and the terrace sat on top of the mountain. The kettle didn’t work, the shared kitchen was outdated or broken, and the biggest issue was the air‑conditioner blasting cold air straight onto the bed; the room was tiny and in summer it was impossible to stay without AC, plus the air ran out.
