The spot was excellent, right in the center just a few steps from the waterfront, the little beach, and the pedestrian zone. The building is old‑timed, on the first floor without an elevator. The host’s mother is a lovely person, very helpful and caring. The room is much larger than average, shared area has working appliances, and you can use a washer and dryer. The room and apartment are furnished in an industrial style, unique and functional. To compensate for the late check‑in because the cleaning staff was absent, they offered breakfast at a partner bar. There are many paid parking spots on the nearby streets. In the bathroom the shower is spacious but the glass door’s hinge is detached from the wall at the bottom, so you have to force it open and close it by inserting your finger into a hole in the glass, which is very dangerous. The shower only comes from above, the little showerhead works poorly, especially in the blue bathroom. Despite the check‑in window being 12‑14, when we arrived at 12:05 no one was there. We were told to wait, and I must say the wait was very short because the host’s mother arrived within five minutes after we notified them; we received a message saying, “You have to wait, you didn’t notify us.” The bathroom, although exclusive, is not in the room; you have to leave the room to access it and it’s visible from both the front door and the other room. The cleaning of the spaces is inadequate; when I opened the balcony window to check the car parked in front, I found cigarette butts that had fallen in from the balcony. Walking barefoot just after arrival, I found white socks completely black. Towels and sheets are changed every 4 days of stay, only upon request before that, and a supplement must be paid. The room is not soundproof, so you hear everything happening inside the apartment and on the street. The double bed is just two single beds joined together, with very uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. The climate system is centralized; the panel is in the corridor and the chosen temperature is applied to all rooms, including the apartment. In 4 days, even the common areas were not cleaned, as I kept finding white socks.
