“Good Value for the Money”

We stayed in a family room that was spotless, and the shared bathroom was surprisingly spacious for daytime use. The breakfast spread sounded amazing, but we had to leave early and missed it. Parking was a hassle—no reservation system, a party was in progress when we arrived, and a guest had taken a spot with no clear departure time. The surrounding streets were dark and poorly lit, so we ended up parking three or four blocks away. Air conditioning was missing, which was fine for September but would be an issue in summer.

“Comfy”

I connected with various people—no TV, just conversation and music. The shower rug was soaked and the tile in front of the shower was coming loose. On the bright side, there’s a free couch or chair in the outback smoking and talking area, and there are plenty of simple comforts that could make the stay even better.

“A cool weloming communal space for an affordable price.”

The vibe here is all about community; I found myself chatting with plenty of guests and getting to know the staff, sharing meals at breakfast and dinner. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, so I’d definitely return. One downside: the lockers in the rooms didn’t have locks, so I’d have preferred a way to secure my belongings.

“Great home away from home.”

Everything was clean and well organized, and Jerrod at reception was great. The location is super convenient for everything and public transport, and the neighborhood is quiet—just one block downhill from Amtrak. Nothing to complain about.
