I was surprised to find basic amenities missing, like a tea kettle in the room, and we had to ask for towels because none were provided. 3. The pool and poolside were poorly maintained – we discovered dead frogs floating in the water.

“Was good, really good”

The receptionists were very helpful—Mr Rushabh and Vaibhav were both friendly and assisted me with everything I needed, including cleaning linen and basic questions.

It was very inexpensive yet still good. I enjoyed the pool and the outdoor area, and there were several common spaces that I liked. Overall it was clean and I had everything I needed, plus free drinking water. However, the air conditioning was overpowering—I was freezing at night. It felt impersonal, like a big chain, which I don’t favor. There were almost no women, only men. The beach was far away, littered with plastic, and the surrounding area felt remote.

The room size was good, as was the washroom. The place was less clean overall, and the swimming pool was dirty.

“Properly made my days at Alibagh!”

Everything there was perfect – the calm atmosphere, the beautiful flowers that brighten the day, and a nice swimming pool. I met many people from different parts of India, which was a highlight. I definitely recommend booking this place and I’m already looking forward to another visit. The only downside is that there’s no general store within walking distance; you’ll need an auto or hope a local offers a drop‑off. The locals themselves are really nice.
