We skipped the on‑site breakfast because we brought enough food ourselves, but the option of a homemade breakfast looks tempting from the reviews. The valley around the hotel is stunning – you really can’t pick a bad spot. The only thing that would make it perfect is adding insect screens to the windows so bugs don’t wander in.

The breakfasts were fantastic, made from local produce and absolutely delicious. Nothing else to complain about – just great food to start the day.

The farm’s location is perfect for exploring the whole Gastein Valley, and our apartment was spotless, cozy, and offered a breathtaking mountain view that helped us unwind. The real highlight for both our kids and us was the abundance of farm animals – from goat walks and duck herding to cat playtime and little barn chores, all with friendly staff on hand to answer questions and suggest outings.

This farm is run with a lot of love and is perfect for families; the staff are patient and explain everything about livestock and milk production in a way kids can understand. The only drawback was a weak Wi‑Fi signal, but it didn’t ruin the holiday vibe.

“Erholsamer Bauernhofurlaub, authentisch und familiär”

The rooms were spotless and well equipped, with a fantastic view and a varied, tasty breakfast that set a friendly, homely tone. Hosts were always reachable, offering quick help and great tips for local trips, and even though we couldn’t enter the barn because of restrictions, there were plenty of animals to pet and watch. Overall we felt very comfortable, though my husband thought the mattress was a bit too soft – but that’s a personal preference.
