“Good place around Virgin Beach”

The view was fantastically new, the atmosphere very relaxing and eye‑pleasing, close to the beach, the guard was very good and the owner friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the balcony area was the best for reflecting, drinking coffee or simply reading a book, but the walls made of bamboo let sound through, and it felt a little creepy at night when alone.

Everything was lovely: the setting (in the rice paddies, close to a beautiful beach), the large private wooden bungalow with terrace, the hosts who were super kind and offered fruit twice a day, but my bungalow was just behind a small local farm/house with roosters, and because I sleep lightly I was woken early every morning; consider earplugs if you’re sensitive.

I only stayed one night, but the location was great and the hosts very friendly; the accommodation was pleasant, peaceful and good value, though the rooms are a bit basic and feel more like a village homestay.

I really enjoyed staying in this bungalow: it was very spacious, clean, quiet with only nature sounds, though there was no hot water for some reason, which didn’t bother me much because in the heat a cool shower is fine; it’s about 800 m on foot to the beach, the owner is very kind and responsive and will come quickly if you need something, the price is ridiculously low for Bali, but note that taxis don’t operate there, so it’s best to arrive by your own transport.

The place was gorgeous with a beautiful garden, just steps from Virgin Beach, and the food was really good.
