“Comfortable stay. Clean and warm.”
I stayed at the stables and the kitchen was shared, clean and modern, with towels and plenty of toiletries that made me feel very warm. The kitchen had milk, eggs, bread, butter, snacks, and other basics—nice gesture. I was handed a hot water bottle, though the pod already had heating, a kettle, fridge, hair dryer, tea, coffee, etc. The stables and horses were lovely to see, and the place was close to shops, restaurants, and pubs. The downside was no WiFi and no external lighting, so it got very dark when heading to the bathroom and kitchen at night, though there was a light near the kitchen entry. I needed a torch, and the farm road had potholes that made driving or walking in the dark difficult. Machinery blocked me twice, keeping me late for work during my work stay. The staff were pleasant but busy and distant, and I had to back up and exit on a very uneven road. There was no TV.
