The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke some German, which made communication easier. We also had a large, secure parking space in the garage for our motorcycles and a car with a trailer. The accommodation was in good condition and very clean. The breakfast was okay, though it was typical Italian sweet fare. Unfortunately, the rooms did not look like the photos; it seems the same images are used for all room types. I booked a double room with a balcony and the description even showed a desk. When I arrived, I was given a rather dark, small ground‑floor room with little natural light, which was especially annoying because of the awful lighting throughout the hotel. The lamps use a very cold light that almost blinds you when you turn it on, and it hurts your eyes at night when you need light. My fellow travelers confirmed this. Luckily, from the second day onward I got a better room with a balcony and a better view. It still lacked a desk, but the increased daylight made it much more comfortable. The harsh cold light was still present there. The Wi‑Fi was very slow, and the juices at breakfast were made from concentrate instead of fresh.
