I arrived early and was greeted by Sebastián, who was incredibly friendly and explained the sights and eateries, even letting us stash our backpacks before check‑in. The room was spotless and comfortable, and I appreciated the earplugs and the bathroom’s tampons and cotton swabs. However, everything felt overly automated; when we tried to exit through the street‑side door it wouldn’t open, and calling for help only connected us to an AI. A bartender below the bar happened to have the keys, so we finally got out, but we almost missed our next bus.

I really enjoyed my stay at Schondorf Hostel! The place is neat, clean, well‑maintained, and feels very safe and secure. What made my stay truly special was Sebastian, the hostel manager, who was always friendly and welcoming, checking in to see if I needed anything and even sharing his own food and wine with me! 😄 It’s people like Sebastian who turn a good hostel into a memorable experience. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! Highly recommended!

Sebastián is outstanding; his service is unbeatable and makes the whole place a 10. Everything is super clean, pretty, and new!

“Comfortable stay”

The bed was comfortable, the room spacious, and the kitchen and toilet were clean. Sebastian and the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Cheers!
