The hotel was tidy and in a quiet spot, had plenty of parking and a good breakfast, but the Wi‑Fi didn’t work and the reception couldn’t fix it even after we tried; they told us we were the first guests to have that issue, and you should check the Wi‑Fi reviews on Booking, including comments. The room was very small and dark.

The reception was exceptionally efficient and friendly; a few days before we arrived I even got a call asking if I needed help arranging my short stay, and the hostess only had a smile. She recommended a great seafood restaurant less than five minutes by car from the hotel.

I liked the spacious room, immaculate cleanliness, the sea view even though it was a bit far, and the calm of the place; the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was disappointed that I was denied a pool towel to use at the beach, with the reason being that the laundry service the hotel uses puts almonds in the linen if their detector finds sand; I found that "mediocre" and regrettable given that it’s a 4‑star hotel and the room price and total spend for just one night were substantial. I think the fine would have been covered by my final bill. As a foreign guest I don’t travel with a beach towel in my luggage, and the hotel is in a vacation spot with the sea, so you expect guests to enjoy it. I’m a cautious person: I could have simply not left the towel on the sand, just put it on a rock, swim, dry off, and bring it back without damage.
