Everyone was super friendly and I never had any problems asking for help. The room was simple but comfortable, and the cleaning crew came every day. Breakfast was great: a plate of fruit, eggs cooked to order, pancakes, toast, and juice. The property has its own generator, so power outages aren’t an issue; still, it’s handy to have a battery light source when you’re on Zanzibar. The house sits right next to the beach and the main road, which is lined with restaurants and souvenir shops. The only caveat is that a school is right next door, so kids are constantly noisy during the day. For me that was absolutely fine, but someone else might prefer a quieter spot. All in all, the place was lovely and I’d definitely return.
