The staff were friendly, and with 24‑hour access you could play around without worrying about time. The only downside was the strong smell coming from the sliding door—quite unpleasant.

The private open‑air bath was fantastic. There were also chairs and tables in a garden‑like space where you could relax while enjoying the view. The staff were very courteous. The only negative point was the lack of a nearby convenience store.

It was an amazing stay, honestly. It’s a bit far from the village, but the free transfer is a game changer—they’ll take you back whenever you want, always with a smile. Communication is excellent, whether in English or Japanese; they really try to connect in English, which is incredible. The room feels like a genuine Japanese experience, super comfy and detailed. Breakfast and dinner were also great value, and we’ll definitely return. Nothing could be better.

Everything was incredible. The breakfast was amazing, the place comfortable, the views stunning, and the traditional room superb. The hotel is a little farther from the onsens, but they offer a shuttle service with set pick‑up and drop‑off times. They even kindly came to pick us up and drop us off at the train station—though Google Maps might suggest a maze of transfers, you can get there in 2 hours from Osaka. The staff were very friendly, left us clothes for the onsen, and a pajama for sleeping. It was the best hotel of our entire stay in Japan—unforgettable. Nothing to complain about.
