“Bosko! Cisza, spokój, pięknie, polecam serdecznie!”
The handcrafted glass bead necklaces, the guesthouse in Wysowa Zdrój surrounded by fields and hills, the beautiful, spacious, very comfortable rooms, the large glazed dining room where breakfast is served each morning, the well-equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, the lounge with a fireplace and comfy armchairs, the upstairs rooms with large beds, roomy bathrooms, and balconies overlooking the mountains—all of this shows the owners’ eye for detail, love of local folklore, and respect for the region; the common areas feature intricate beadwork made from tiny ceramic tiles and watercolor paintings by a local artist of churches, mountains, roadside chapels; the rooms exude harmony and tranquility, everything is new, well-maintained, and even the field flowers in vases; the balcony offers views of mountains and meadows, where we saw deer by day and a sky full of stars at night; despite all rooms being occupied during our stay, we felt as if we were the only ones there, with silence, calm, and relaxation; the breakfast at Krywulka is sincere and loving, with something new and local each day—homemade cakes and desserts, preserves (including eggplant paste that I took back to Kraków), lard, pumpkin jam, mini pastries, rolls, breaded vegetables, tasty salads, all prepared on site with real taste; there are plenty of walking routes nearby such as Góra Jawor, with churches, chapels, small cemeteries, and a spa park with a water pavilion; a visit to the tourist information office is worth it for local art.
