I booked and paid for a double superior room, yet when I arrived the hotel had no superior rooms left and gave me a “standard” room the size of a chicken coop; I couldn’t cancel because the booking was non‑refundable, and the place was so dirty that hair was everywhere in the bathroom.

The staff were warm and efficient, but the hotel was too close to the road and the rooms felt a bit dated.

Breakfast was very good, but the cleanliness was lacking: the bathroom trash bin hadn’t been emptied, there were spider webs in the room, and one in the lamp in the breakfast area.

The room was old and the wardrobe tiny; the mansard roof made my husband feel faint as soon as we entered, the hotel sits right next to a busy and dangerous road, we were disappointed by the restaurant because dishes advertised on the menu were consistently missing, the value for money was not there, yet the staff were very friendly.
