The location was quiet, but the minimalist decor left me with just a family room and my dog. The room and bathroom were huge, yet there was no TV or decoration. I stayed over the long weekend from 3 October, and there were no staff at the front desk; the place wasn’t cleaned. The only employee I encountered was at check‑in.

The room was nice and it offered a place to store and charge e‑bikes, but there was no hair dryer or TV.

Everything was very relaxed, a lovingly restored farmhouse with a lot of architectural imagination, right in the green under ancient oak trees.

The bed was good, but on the weekend the towels weren’t changed and the beds weren’t made. The rooms were very Spartan, set up only with the essentials. The service staff—probably students—seemed uninterested. The girl wore rubber gloves, first stroking a guest’s dog and then filling the cheese and cold cuts platter, which is unacceptable. On the day of departure, no employee was present to receive the keys; guests simply left them on the reception desk and they were taken away. Terrible service!
