The room was large, quiet, and the lounge was empty; it was reachable by a short walk. Breakfast was plentiful and served in the dining area of the newly renovated former school. The staff were attentive and courteous. You could learn a lot about the school’s history through stories or displays, and they gave good advice on nearby restaurants and the island of Texel. There was nothing to complain about.

I stayed in a converted schoolhouse that was clean, neat, and tidy, and the room and bed were a good size and comfortable. The hosts were pleasant and helpful, and they supplied towels, dressing gowns, and slippers. The garden was easy to access, and walking to the dunes and beach was convenient.

The welcome at the accommodation was very warm, and the rooms are beautiful, especially the ambiance of the old school. Breakfast was complete, and the hosts were very attentive. A good parking space behind the house is included. Overall, a fantastic stay that I can only recommend.
