The breakfast was spectacular, truly good and varied; every day the lady Rita made a delicious homemade tart, English trifle, figs, her own grapes, and homemade yogurt. She treated us wonderfully.

Nothing positive; the room was hot and poorly equipped, the shower box still had a curtain in 2026, and the window was open letting in the penguin and mosquitoes.

The location was quiet, the beach a few minutes away, and nearby attractions were close; they let me have a motorcycle near the house with a fenced garden. For breakfast they asked what I preferred and if I had allergies – I only had a latte and they also served a good cup of English trifle, plus bread and jam (which I didn’t have time to taste), and they “gifted” me some figs, fantastic! I recommend the place!

The property sits in the countryside, in a quiet, silent spot. I’m writing this to give future guests essential info omitted from the listing: the bathroom is private but external to the room, like a hostel, a detail not specified before booking. Water pressure and hot water were intermittent over the days. There was no Wi‑Fi service and the internet was always unreliable. No TV or other tech comforts were present. The room had a portable air conditioner with a vent that required the window open; the system was very noisy, ineffective, and let insects in. The terrace was unusable because of the high mosquito presence, which were everywhere, even in the room, so you need to check the sheets before sleeping. The kitchen was locked and off limits to guests. The room only had a mini‑fridge without a freezer. The mattress was very hard. The beach was almost impossible to reach on foot: the path required walking along a road without a sidewalk or pedestrian lane and crossing a busy provincial road. The property is family‑run. Despite an apparent friendliness early on, the constant presence of management compromised privacy and freedom of movement. In addition to a marked organizational rigidity, there were serious communication shortcomings: in response to simple routine requests (related to services initially offered by the management), I encountered a passive‑aggressive attitude that escalated into unjustified, exaggerated outbursts, entirely unprofessional. The stay was far from satisfactory.
