The breakfast was a real treat—big, tasty and clearly made with care. The place sits in a quiet, leafy spot and the meals we had for dinner (the airy lasagna and the super‑light pizza) were both spot‑on. Sergio is a friendly, helpful host who’s easy to chat with, though getting to the inn is a hassle: the dirt road to São Gonçalo is full of potholes and can be pretty discouraging.

Surrounded by greenery, the room felt cozy and the breakfast was very good, with Sergio and Carlos providing attentive service. The only real issue was the chill at night—no heater and the mattresses could use a bit more comfort.
