The double room was cozy and clean, the house had a lovely lounge, a coffee machine, and the breakfast was good with friendly staff; the fjord location is unique, the restaurant offers tasty food, but the rooms are in a separate building—don’t be fooled by the tiny houses right on the water.

The hotel’s location is beautiful and the traditional buildings are pretty, but the interior theme feels creepy and outdated, the breakfast was the worst we’ve had in Norway after three weeks of travel, and it was the second most expensive room we booked while staying in otherwise low‑quality places.
