I liked the breakfast replenishment, though it could be better, but the coffee was great. The front‑desk staff were inattentive about the portion sizes, claiming items were unavailable when they actually were. Another receptionist didn’t know the hotel offers facial recognition to unlock the front doors.

The grounds have plenty of green space for kids to run, with games, balls, racquets, a campfire and a lovely view of the reserve. The pool is nice and warm, which is essential for comfortable swims in cooler evenings, and the room was comfortable. The location is very close to the praça and all the restaurants and bars, yet it remains quiet.

The breakfast, location, cleanliness, ambiance, and surroundings were all good. A night‑time animal—maybe a frog or something—kept singing throughout the hotel, and the staff do not speak English.
