The room was nice, but you couldn’t use the kitchen without bringing your own utensils, plates, glasses, etc.; everything had to be purchased. Walking into the lobby and dining room felt stark, like stepping into an ATM closet.

The location was convenient for getting our daughter and niece settled into college at NMU; the room was clean and had all the amenities we could need, especially the fridge with an ice maker 👏; the staff were all super friendly and helpful 😊. I didn’t realize there was no breakfast service provided (my fault for assuming at least a bare‑bones continental option). It would also be nice to have hot tea and hot chocolate offered in the lobby room, as I don’t drink coffee. The beds were a little too firm for me, so I didn’t get the best night's sleep 🥴.

The grilling area was great.

Clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable, but the room had a bad odor and seemed to be covered with carpet freshener, which was quite nauseating.
