I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, appreciating its cleanliness and convenient location. The breakfast, although simple, was surprisingly great. However, I encountered some difficulties with communication with the hotel staff. Overall, it was a decent experience.

I booked this hotel for my hike to Trolltunga on December 30th, expecting a range of services, but unfortunately, they were mostly unavailable. I was grateful for the chef's friendly and helpful demeanor, though. However, I was disappointed with the lack of services, including laundry facilities and a closed restaurant in the evenings, and I felt it was unfair to pay the full price for such limited amenities.

I appreciated the fact that there were two types of rooms available, offering different levels of comfort, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was also quite good. However, I was disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed in the evening, despite an email I received the previous evening stating it would be open until 10 PM. Additionally, I was told that check-in was until 11 PM, but the reception desk actually closed at 10 PM.

The location was truly breathtaking, with a magical view from both my room and the breakfast area. However, I was disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed during the off-season, forcing us to search for an open restaurant in the area. Fortunately, we stumbled upon a good restaurant near the bus station. I think it's a shame that the hotel remains open but closes its restaurant, especially after a long day of traveling.

I appreciated the hotel's location, the kindness of the staff, and the on-site parking. However, I felt that the quality-price ratio was not great. The room was clean, but basic, and the price was quite high, although I suppose that's to be expected in Norway.
