Beautiful countryside retreat to escape the city yet close enough to essential amenities. The location is great for exploring the local area. This place really feels like a tech-free escape (no TV, which was brilliant) and a return to nature in a quiet corner of a beautifully restored farmhouse and farm grounds. Lots of bird life, foxes, hares if you look hard enough, plus a fantastic working stables. The host could not have been more welcoming, friendly, and helpful, while still offering complete privacy. Ideal for solo explorers or couples. Cozy and compact. The farm’s history and the feeling of a treehouse (for adults) were enjoyable. A lovely balcony or veranda for evening sitting.

I was thoroughly impressed by the little cottage I stayed in, which offered the perfect blend of fun and comfort.
