It’s close to Bukit Jalil. We stayed there because we wanted a nearby spot to watch the concert. The staff let us check in early because a room was available. It was good.

The location is fine. The staff’s customer service was lacking; they were unhappy when we asked to open the side door with the ramp for our many pieces of luggage, which made the experience frustrating.

It’s near the malls and easy to reach by taxi. A 24‑hour halal nasi and tomyam stall is within a stone’s throw. The staff’s friendliness was subpar and the hotel didn’t feel welcoming. I arrived at 5 pm but the room wasn’t ready even though check‑in time is 3 pm.

This hotel carries a nostalgic feel for us from the COVID era when it was called the Sri Petaling Hotel. Whenever there’s an event at the Sri Petaling Mosque or Markaz Tabligh Malaysia, we all rent rooms there, and when the mosque is full many people still choose this hotel. A room facing the mosque is especially cool to look at. The parking in front of the hotel is cruel and expensive.

The staff were polite. I asked if they could give me a street‑facing room and even left a note, but they didn’t read it. I ended up in a far room, the last one with a view of the back of the street, all jungle. They put me on a strictly no‑smoking level, yet the moment I stepped out of the lift I could smell cigarettes. In the room there were cigarettes on the floor, the smell was horrible, and people were even bringing durian into the hotel. How they allow that? The noise from outside is constant, even when I’m in my room I can hear people turning switches on and off. The water heater is terrible; the middle of the shower water stops.
