The location was really great, absolutely suggestive! The hosts were very cute and helpful, you could see their love for hospitality. Unfortunately the spa was closed in the morning and we couldn’t use it, the room was on the first floor and the bathroom on the ground floor. We had just stayed at another B&B in Friuli for a lower price, and their breakfast was much more abundant, with many water bottles included and a nice welcome aperitif that we didn’t find here.

A truly extraordinary place: sleeping inside a Roman quarry, in rock‑cut dwellings that hold an ancient history yet are lived in and cared for with great sensitivity today. It’s a unique experience that makes you feel the weight and wonder of time passing. Margot (a very affectionate Labrador puppy), Marta and Simone are the soul of the spot: kind, thoughtful, always ready to help, yet discreet enough to let you enjoy the stay with the right intimacy. Breakfast deserves a special mention: prepared and served by Marta and Simone themselves, in wicker baskets on small wooden trays, with extreme attention to every detail. A real pampering, the perfect way to start the day. And then the spa, simply amazing: also carved into the cave, it offers a suspended, enveloping atmosphere. A true caress for the soul, a place to meditate, relax and do yoga that “arrives where the mind stops.” The setting is also extraordinary: we’re on the Berici Hills, a stone’s throw from the Euganei and very close to some rare Palladian villas. An ideal spot for anyone who wants to combine the charm of the property with the surrounding landscape. A true fairy tale, fitting for anyone looking for something authentic and off the beaten path. Must experience.

We were lucky to be the only guests that day, which made everything even more special. But beyond that, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. From the welcome, the room, the cleanliness and the care of every detail, we felt at home instantly. The room was simply PERFECT. Staying inside a real cave, in such an ancient and historic place, was a unique experience. It’s not just something beautiful to see: it’s something you feel, something you live. Impeccable cleanliness, attention to every detail and that sense of warmth that makes you want to stay inside forever. The place, immersed in history, is unique; I would recommend it to anyone because it’s a particular and magical experience. Outside the rooms there’s a pool that makes the stay even more “cuddly” beyond the spa, which unfortunately we didn’t use because of our tight schedule. Breakfast, ordered comfortably from the room the day before, was another wonderful pampering, prepared with the same care and attention we found elsewhere. But what we’ll take home most is the welcome, the warmth and the commitment of Marta and Simone. Nothing else.
