Bros Hostel & Cafe, Sissu

“The stay was worth it.”

The place surprised us; my younger brother and I found it far better than we expected. The owner was friendly and courteous, the rooms and surroundings spotless, and everything about the stay was beautiful—no complaints at all.

“Fijn verblijf voor een nacht, rustig gelegen en lekker eten.”

I was welcomed warmly, the food was tasty, and breakfast could be taken early. The view was lovely and the location peaceful. However, the bed in the front room was very hard; it was a plank with a thin foam layer or something similar instead of a proper mattress.

The cushions and sheets were very fresh and clean, and the view of the waterfall and glaciers was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was quiet because it’s far from the main road. A small Buddhist monastery nearby added to the charm. The downside is that you need a vehicle to go up and down, or you must be fit for a one‑hour walk down to the waterfall.
