The family‑run hotel feels incredibly warm, and the owners are irresistibly friendly and attentive. Breakfast is superb, featuring fresh egg dishes, raw vegetable and fruit platters, local juices, yogurt, muesli, cheese, ham, salami, preserves, and delicious rolls, fresh homemade cakes, and more. Rooms are spotless and spacious. The outdoor pool (unheated) and the heated Jacuzzi offer fantastic views of the beautiful surroundings. There’s a bike storage room, and for a small fee you can grab cold drinks from a fridge or make hot drinks at any time during the day. A mini‑fridge is also in the room. We had a completely relaxing, great stay. The only drawback was the roughly 1.5 km climb from the village of Schenna to the hotel, but with an e‑bike it’s no problem and worth it!

In August 2026 we spent the holidays there with the whole family of eight. We were welcomed very warmly. The modern rooms, the stunning view, and the excellent breakfast left no wishes unfulfilled. Christian offered many great tips for biking and hiking. Everyone felt very comfortable in the family atmosphere. Thanks again for the lunch packs for the return trip! 😉

Everything was just perfect: the location, the hosts, the facilities, the pool, our daily breakfast with newspapers, and the tips for our motorcycle trips… I wholeheartedly recommend it, huge thanks!
