Le Mas des Pins

I was scammed: the listing said “night cabin” but my booking was for a caravan, so I cancelled 30 minutes after booking and they wouldn’t refund me—this is outright fraud. “Un concept sympa mais une mise en œuvre approximative”

The “nature” accommodation concept is interesting; we stayed in the caravan, the distance between the different units is fine, and the price is moderate. Overall, the experience isn’t very positive: the lack of water (a communal tap like in a campsite would be the minimum) is a handicap, many small details are missing to make the nature concept work, and the proximity to the passing road ruins the secluded, quiet vibe that should accompany the concept.

Honestly, I only book through Booking, and I was never told there were compost toilets or that the shower is outdoors in the open air. I was very surprised when I arrived. You can see this on your site, but as I said, I only use Booking, so if I’d known, we would have arrived much earlier to take a shower because it was still very cold, and I didn’t expect a trash bag in the toilets… plus there’s no water in the caravan, and although the place is advertised as very quiet, the nearby road is very noisy.
